A native of New York, Karen attended the National Sports Academy in Lake Placid and the Stratton Mountain School in Vermont. She began competitive ski racing at the age of 9 and went on to become an Empire State Games Gold Medalist. She was a member of the New York State Ski Team, the Vermont Ski Team and the Cornell University Ski Team.
Karen graduated from Cornell University in 1988 with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. After two years as a ski racing coach and ski instructor in Vail, Karen began her business career as a sales representative for Unisys Corporation in Rochester, New York. In 1993 she advanced to a position with Oracle Corporation. She worked in New York and London as an account manager responsible for the development of relationships with Oracle's strategic accounts.
In 2004 Karen and her husband chose to relocate to Park City where they now live in the Mountain Ranch area with their two small children. Karen is an active alumni of the Delta Gamma Sorority, Park City Board of Realtors Director, volunteer and docent for the Park City Historical Society and Museum and enjoys alpine skiing, water skiing and golf.
She is active in all areas of real estate with an emphasis on ski and golf properties.
